Embarking on a Journey in Healthcare Design

By Bob Tiedeken, (New) Marketing Director at RVA Architecture

As a newcomer to RVA Architecture (RVA), I am excited to be part of a team with a track record and a legacy of architectural excellence for over three decades. Led by founding Principal and President Rick Vitabile, RVA has established itself as a leader in healthcare architecture, specializing in outpatient clinics and physical therapy facilities. With a focus on blending classical principles with livable designs, I am eager to contribute to the impactful work of this esteemed firm (like this site.)

The Firm is committed to crafting exceptional patient-centric healthcare spaces. From outpatient clinics to physical therapy centers, the team of seasoned architects and project managers is dedicated to creating spaces prioritizing patient comfort, well-being, and efficiency.  I am thrilled to join a firm like RVA, which values innovation, collaboration, and client satisfaction.

Joining RVA is not just a new chapter in my career but a privilege. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of a talented and diverse team of architects, project managers, and designers. With a shared commitment to excellence and a passion for design, the team collaborates to bring our client’s visions to life. Being new to the AEC universe, I look forward to learning from my colleagues and bringing in new projects.

The Firm’s guiding principles are not just words on a page but the foundation of our success. They are professionalism, respect, teamwork, embracing challenges, and commitment. As a new team member, I am not just committed but inspired to uphold these values and contribute to the success of every project.

As the Marketing Director, it is on me to showcase how our range of services is tailored to meet clients’ unique needs in the healthcare industry (this goes beyond outpatient clinics, as I can say past projects include medical offices, senior living, and hospitals.)

At RVA, we believe in the power of collaboration and partnership. I am excited to work with the Firm’s clients, partners, and peers to create impactful designs that improve healthcare outcomes. I do not see any greater cause than that, and though I am not an architect, project manager, or designer, I can proselytize what makes our team unique.
